Drop Down Quick Access Method List
What happened to it? Did that disappear for some reason?
I think I was using 4.13 and just updated to 4.17 and the drop-down list is not there.
Is it something I've done, seems like a simple and valuable feature?

It's still there, it just looks different and needs to be repopulated... https://imgur.com/a/O2EFARc
Each time you load an existing method list, or save a new one, it will be added to the dropdown menu.

Thanks for the reply Randy.
Maybe I should call it the "Presets" drop-down.

Not sure what that pic is. I can't see it (and I don't login to Google. Ever). Did you make it public?

Bubbi,
You need to grant access to that file on Google drive. Right click on it, click share, make access public.
Where there used to be a scroll list field, now if you LEFT-click on the "load file" icon you'll get a context or drop-down list with your recent files (and some other options). Save file icon does similar.
Best,
DF

Sorry about that link, I fixed it above and here it is again:

So, yes, the Presets drop-down is gone in 4.17, is this the new direction? Instead of the dropdown, they will be added to the Load Method List menu?

Yes. That does seem to be the case.
On the plus side, it's more compact and more inline with how many (¿most?) Windows programs handle such things these days.

Yes, it is the new direction. The result is a more compact layout with room for more features. It is a win-win-win situation.

I have to say, I love that particular feature. The "overwrite" option is really cool for me, with my funky computer. Now I can actually save batches in v4.1x without having to copy whatever to v3.95 and saving it there.
