Linux version
For some reason I couldn't add to the end of the other Linux version message thread.
Like the poster last month I have moved over to Linux from Windows and this is pretty much the only program I haven't managed to replace. When I ask in the Linux threads there are lots of Do it with X or do it with a command line GUIs are for ....
None of the 'X's ever have the depth of Advanced Renamer's options & features and I like the security of being able to check a percentage of the renames before I rename and the time saving of the ability to save the patterns for re-use.
So, if you are up for persuasion, a Linux version would be incredibly useful and I would like to add 1 to the request count. Mint (Ubuntu/Debian derivative) As a longstanding Personal licence holder I'd love to move this over as a native application.
