I would like to be able to minimize that in GREEN, and expand the grid in RED.

Ah, yes. I agree with this feature request wholeheartedly!
It's been at least indirectly requested before.
You may want to edit your first post in this thread to change the title to something like:
"Feature Request: Allow us to collapse/hide the Renaming methods column".
