I downloaded EXIF seperately and added tags, it doesn't appear included - but there is almost no information on the user guide about how to actually use it. Anyone help? thanks

ExifTool is built-in to Advanced Renamer - although the built-in version is read-only.
See the User Guide: https://www.advancedrenamer.com/user_guide/exift ool The stand-alone version of ExifTool is more flexible but does not have a formal user guide. However there is plenty of information on the website and you should be able to find all the help you need via a Google search on the site. If all you want to do is add metadata tags when renaming files and not edit the metadata itself then you are unlikely to need the full version of ExifTool. |

LOL... I just want to rename photos to their Exif data, rather than dumb iPhone photo numbers. That guide doesn't show how to do it, only to tag in the name, where do I prompt that photo? The tagging doesn't work....Is it because the files are over the network or.. |

Solved!!!
The bottom portion gets cut off the screen on 4K monitors, had to expand to see exif tool data. the tag matches slightly different than from standalone exif app |
