Do you get the same error with version 3.91? And when do you get the error, when you open the program or when you perform a certain action? |

I'm not the same user, but I'm getting these errors upon opening the software. M:\Software\Utilities\Advanced Renamer 3.92\Data-Default\paternlist.dat]. Access violation at address 0000000001336A80 in module 'ARen.exe'. Read of address 0000000000000008. Access violation at address 0000000001404778 in module 'ARen.exe'. Read of address 0000000000000098. I get this one when I try to load a stored method file. Access violation at address 000000000141B258 in module 'ARen.exe'. Read of address 0000000000000018. And this one when I close the app Access violation at address 000000000140EEC4 in module 'ARen.exe'. Read of address 0000000000000000. I do not get any of these errors when opening 3.91. I replaced the Data-Default folder with the one from 3.91 and the errors all disappeared. |

It seems like this is only a problem with the portable version of the program. I have fixed the issue and uploaded a new package to the download page. Thank you for letting me know about the problem.

This is not just a problem with the portable version. I installed the full version, and I'm getting the following error when opening: Exception EAccessViolation in module ARen.exe at 000000000001243F. Access violation at address0000000000AE243F in module 'ARen.exe'. Read of address 0000000000000006. Interestingly, the program starts fine if I right-click > Run as Administrator. It also starts immediately after install if the "Launch Advanced Renamer" checkbox is checked. |
