Adding serial? numbers

I have about 400 tv shows, many with identical name except for the date.

How do I add serial? numbers to distinguish duplicate names so I can then delete the date.

I tried numerous times using "ADD" and also "RENAME" but each attempt fails.

Example of what I am trying to say:
20210720 2127 - NITV - Celtics _ Lakers_ Best Of Enemies
20210713 2137 - NITV - Celtics _ Lakers_ Best Of Enemies
