Is the Microsoft store app the same as the software program downloaded from the website?

The version from here (advancedrenamer.com) is the only version I've ever used, but I seem to recall Kim Jensen the author saying it wasn't. Can't say for sure though. Best, DF |

It is 100% the same as the installable program. It uses command line switches to automate the install and uninstall of the program. |
