It took me a while, but I finally finished version 4.0. It is now out as a beta from the download page. If you decide to try it out and find bugs, please write me an email from the Support page.
There are some UI changes, but most changes are below the user interface. Version 4 is for the most part compatible with version 3 (not the other way around), but some changes are considered breaking changes. The first version of Advanced Renamer was released two decades ago. With this release I expect the software to live on with regular updates for the next couple of decades too. I will keep adding features and sort out quirks and bugs until late fall where I plan the final version to be released as the successor to version 3.95. |
