Hi, folks. I've got a huge number of scanned images that eventually need to be renamed. I'm testing the facility of how to track renaming the files, and I've figured out how to export to CSV and get the old name and the new one (as well as the path and if the operation was "OK"). The trouble is, the values are not being separated. Instead for four columns, I'm getting just one that concatenates all those columns into one big long string. It seems to me that the default ought to be comma-separating the column values. How do I get each column in ARen to represent in a matching column when the information is in Excel?

Hi, are you using the latest version of Advanced Renamer? In version 4.03, when you save the CSV file, you can set the type of delimiter and the type of quotation marks for the best display in your version of Excel. |
