New User Question List Replace

I have looked at the form and read the help section, but I feel I lack the vocabulary to ask this question correctly.

Basically, I have a bunch of files (PDF's) that I want to change the name of. They are all in one folder and thus are all unique names. I have a spread sheet with their current name and there supposed to be new name.

I have tried the list replace, but can not get it to load the old name nor the new name into the columns. If I paste each one separately, I looks like it will work wonderfully, but there are 100rd's to do, so I would rather not go that route.

So how do you load a list of names to the REPLACE and the REPLACE WITH columns using the list replace method.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi, I hope I understand your problem.
I think you need to use the list method where you paste the column of the spreadsheet with the new names.
So make sure that you have put the column of the spreadsheet with the original names in alphabetical order so that you can paste the new names in the correct order.
