Hi,
is it possible to write EXIF data of images from partial filename? Example: filename is: 24_11_18 12_00_00 testimage.jpg (it starts with date and time) can i write date and time into exif data "FileCreateDate"? In this case 24_11_18 12:00:00 This would help to get the pictures sorted correct in cloud storage like google photos. Thank you so much for help, Walter |

Hi Walter, I don't think you can write exif data from the filename in Advanced Renamer. Maybe the standalone version of Exiftool, or some other programs for editing metadata. I've never used Google Photos... you can't order the files by filename? Good luck! DF |

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately google photos and Amazon photos as well don't sort by the filenames... don't know why. Up to now I found only one way to do this: i have to write a program using exiftool. But it seems to be a lot of work ;-) I have all my photos in my private cloud also and searched google to find a gallery app providing access via ftp. Nothing found... Walter |
