Hi all. I have looked, and maybe I just suck at finding information, but...
Is there a way to load a bunch of files, select a renaming option, and then in the results, see a list of only those whose filename will change? Thanks. |

Hi Jenny, welcome, If you mean you want to hide the files, I don't think there's any way to do that. But if you right click on the files and select "Remove special / remove unchanged items" you can reduce the list to only the files that are touched by your active methods. Best, DF |

Yeah, I figured out how to go through them and hide them individually. I just hoped there was a setting to do it en masse, not individually. :) Thank you! |

Well, it *would* be awesome if there was a "Mark/Unmark unchanged" option in the context menu. But Kim works really hard on this program; I hate to ask him for stuff. And (I don't know if you've shopped around for other renamer programs) there's really nothing out there equivalent. Well, there's one other program, but for anything I can do in ARen I'd 100 times rather use it! That other program is powerful, but it's totally confusing to use, and it uses some BASIC variant for scripting, which I hate. Also they don't have a forum, so there's no help available. Best, DF |

Oh no, that's fine! I totally get that. :) I just thought I'd ask, since I wanted to be sure I hadn't missed it. :) |
