I tried this renaming tool for the first time. While renaming tools generally have a clear purpose and can be relatively easy to develop, I have a few observations to share.

First, regarding the interface, it seems to use a ribbon-style layout. The lack of traditional pull-down menus initially made it difficult to locate settings.

While applications should ideally be intuitive without the need for documentation, I eventually understood that you can combine multiple naming rules by selecting different methods (which is quite clever).

The main drawback, however, is that there's no preview showing how your current settings will affect the filenames. I think it should show a preview of how files will be renamed with the current settings before applying the changes. While you can check the changes afterwards using the Undo tool or directly in Explorer, this is inconvenient.

However, among the many renaming tools available, this one is very easy to use and I found it quite good overall.

Hi Tarokiti, welcome.
To get the pull-down menus, you can simply click on the ribbon arrow on the right. In the settings, you will find the "Program" tab for other options that control the menu and size.
To see the new file name in real time as you add new methods, make sure the Auto Test option is checked in the Options menu.

If you have problems with the renaming of the files, feel free to post here on the forum, where there are always very smart people who are able to solve problems that at first sight seem impossible.

Regards from Italy ;)
