Hello i'm new to Advanced Renamer and so far, i'm impressed with its ease of functions but got stuck when trying to enable paring as it appears to default to my .MOV files where there is limited to no Exif data, any chance i can change the order to .HEIC first then .MOV (Parent-Child) as i would like to apply the Exif data from my .HEIC files to their corresponding .MOV file?

For now the priority is hard coded. The priority is like this: Video files Audio files Images files Other files Because your .MOV file is recognized as a video file and the .HEIC is a image file, the .MOV files is considered the master file. What you can do, is either turn off pair programming, or first change the extension of the .MOV files, so something else so that it will go under the category Other files. It would be great to have the priority list of file extensions be configurable, but unfortunately that is not how it works right now. |
