add multiple file chapter prefixes

hello everyone,

Since I have my own personal server, your tool has saved me on many occasions by renaming chapters, however, I have not been able to find information on how to achieve what I want.

I currently have an anime with 288 episodes which is as follows as example:

001. The best chapter
002. Second best chapter
...
...
288. The best chapter 288

original first episode named: 001. Asesinato en la montaña rusa.mkv

what I want to achieve is to replace those 001, 002, 288, etc with the equivalent in chapter, in this case S01E01, S01E02,...,S01E288 or in its defect if it is not possible, to add it previously, that it is like this:

S01E01 - 001. The best chapter
S01E02 - 002. The second best episode
S01E288 - 288. Best episode 288

I hope I understand what I need and you can help me.

Hi Daniel, welcome,

I'm not totally sure I understand what you want, but since we share a name I'll take a stab at it. :) Just check the "New Name" preview column and make sure this gives you what you want before you actually change anything. And if you do change something not to your liking remember you can always undo the changes.

First add your files to ARen. Next add an "Add" method and fill it out like this:

Add: S01E
At index: 1
Apply to: Name

Then add a "Renumber" method:

Number position: 2
Change to: Relative to existing number
Number difference: 0
Zero padding: Manual
Number length: 2
Apply to: Name
