Hello,
When copying the files I noticed that the video file mp4 should not have the GPS files in version 4.. but it is in version 3.95. It doesn't matter whether it is portable or installed. Who can help me? Or how can I solve this? I want to copy the files in a new folder, the folder name should have the date GPS country GPS state. But with the video file mp4, no GPS is displayed as an error. I use Windows 10 Pro |

GPS data in MP4 files can be stored in various locations depending on the source of the video file. Advanced Renamer 4 supports some, but most likely not all. What brand of camera have you used? Is it a smartphone? |

Hello, thank you for the quick response, yes the videos were made with a Samsung S23 smartphone. What surprises me is that the same mp4 file in version 3.95, which is found and displayed by GPS, but from version 4 onwards cannot be found. Sorry for the English, I used a translator. |

Version 3.95 is very much dependent on external tools for retrieving metadata from some file formats. For version 4 I have taken up the task of implementing this myself, which has been both fun and challenging - and I have learned a lot. One thing I have learned is how non-standard these standard formats can be. I can give it a go, and see if I can add support for more GPS values in MP4 files in the next version (4.09). |
