Hi,
Just moved from V3.95 to 4.08 and the program hangs if > ca100 files are dropped in the input box, showing"testing files". If a smaller # of files used, see that GPS data is available, but new file name column is not showing the results, while error shows "ok". In v3.94 I have seen "no result from geo server" as an error message. This was the reason to move to v4.08. Hope you can help with this problem. Not sure how I can add a screen print to this message. Regards, Rob edit: foto's in v3.95 with error "no result from geo server" showed all wrong GPS data in the exif tool (17056881 deg51' 12.15"N, 17056881 deg 51' 12.15" E). Guess same wrong exif GPS data caused v4.08 to crash. Maybe good to change v4.08 to show the same error message iso to crash. |

Hi Rob, I can't help with that problem, since it does sound specific to some part of ARen I don't use, but (assuming Windows) here's one way to attach a screenshot to your post. I use google drive to store screenshots, so that's what I'll describe, though other similar sites should involve the same general steps: 1. While you have the information you want to attach showing, hold down Shift + Windows key and tap "S". 2. The screen will darken slightly to show you are in the snipping tool. Click and drag over the area to capture. 3. Navigate to <username>\pictures\screenshots and find your capture by date. 4. Browse to drive.google.com (could be any number of other file storage sites), then drag and drop the file onto the file display area; the site will tell you (lower right) that the file has uploaded; click the X for close on that message. 4. F5 to refresh the screen; the file should show as the top file. Right click on the file, choose "Share\Share", choose to share with everybody, click copy link, then close that popup. 5. Paste into your post. Wow, I need a nap... ;) Best, DF |
